The board of AEK Athens B.C. announces that the team will participate in Basketball Champions League 2016-2017.

The teams of 5th regular season group are: AEK, Partizan KK (Serbia), Zielona Gora (Poland), Besiktas Sompo Japan (Turkey), Dinamo Sassari (Italy), MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg (Germany), Proximus Spirou Charleroi (Belgium) and Szolnok Olaj (Hungary).
