Defeated, 78-72 but impresses

Excellent performance by the ”Queen” in their first pre-season friendly match.

AEK lost 78-72 from Dinamo Sassari at Nuoro but it was AEK that impressed. AEK had complete control of the game for 36 minutes, but ”surrendered” to the fatigue and some errors of Italian referees.

The Italians took the lead after 11′ (23-22) at 37′ with 69-68. Daniel Orton with 16 points and Loukas Mavrokefalidis with 15 was the first scorers of “Queen”, while for the Sassari Logan put 20 points.

At the end of the game AEK was awarded with the leader Dusan Sakota receiving a Cup.
