New AEK Athens B.C. signing Loukas Mavrokefalidis, gave an interview at aekbc.gr

”I am very happy that I have joined AEK Athens B.C. Everybody in the team works very hard and focused. In my opinion AEK Athens has a really good prespective and I want to help the team as much as I can. I’m in very good age to help out and physically I feel very well.

Definately, the new signings of AEK Athens played a significant role in my choice. I saw that the team has too good and serious players. All I can say is that… there is no big words. Every beginning has its difficulties. Step by step, AEK will show what is capable of. The goals of the team depend on the President’s and the Head coach’s decision. The players do not need to speak only work hard and be 100% concentrated. This is the only thing I can promise.”

And he concluded: ”Of course, I spoke with the Head coach and played an important role in my decision to come to AEK. When I was younger I was thinking seriously about NBA but at my age even if I had the chance to play there I wouldn’t do it, but never say never.

Eurocup is a very important and strong competition that I have participated in for many years. There are many important teams in our group. It is going to be a very tough group”.
