Nicholas Paulos came in Athens International Airport ”Eleftherios Venizelos” at 16.20.The Greek – American forward made his first statements to aekbc.gr.

”I know a lot of things about the history of AEK Athens. I am ready to work hard and help the team achieve its goals. I am ready for the new challenges. I saw that in Eurocup we have a tough group with very good teams. I will do my best to help the team in all three competitions.

I know things about Malik Hairston. It’s an honour. I want to learn a lot of things from him”.

And he concluded: ”Ι spoke with the Head coach, Dragan Sakota, in the ”summer camp” of Las Vegas. He is a very good coach and person. I am very excited that I have a chance to work with him.

I do not know the greek language, but some words or phrases I have learned. Like ”kalimera”, ”kalispera”, ”ti kaneis”, ”efxaristo”, ”parakalo”. I want so much to learn more.

I’m very lucky that I belong to such a successful club as AEK Athens B.C. I will do my best for our fans to be happy and to help the team to win”.
