AEK BC announces that the BCL Single Judge has informed today our club about his decision on the incidents that occurred in the game of December 18th 2019 against Hapoel Jerusalem.

The sanction imposed is one (1) BCL game as hosting club behind closed doors with this sanction being deferred to a probationary period of on (1) year.

The sanction derives from usage of lasers, display of national flags other than the competing teams’ countries flags and burning of the Israeli flag. The sanction will be executed immediately after such or similar incidents will be repeated.

Finally, it should be clear that we ask our fans to be extremely careful from now on as we have very crucial games coming up.
